One out of tweleve people walking into a store could be a shop lifter!

Retail theft is most common with adults, out of them fifty-five percent of them started when they were teens.

The crime of shoplifting generally falls under the legal classification of larceny.

Shoplifting is distinct from burglary (theft by breaking into a closed store), robbery (stealing by threatening or engaging in violent behavior) or armed robbery (stealing by using a weapon).

If you do shoplift you feel immense humiliation and distrust from friends and family, and your own conscious is hurt if it isn’t then there is something wrong with your feelings not to feel bad about stealing from stores.

Every time you steal from stores they are set back that much money and might even have to fire someone that could be one of your friends. If you do know someone that is in teen court or are friends with someone that is in teen court you will get your discipline from them, believe me I know. This will effect parents, moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and/or care takers. It well cause them to pay more money for common everyday items.Even if peer pressure is a factor, or just the fact that you wanted the product and didn’t have the money, stealing is wrong. It’s self righteously wrong and it’s against the law and I’m sorry for what I did.So if you figure that they don’t make a whole lot of money out of profit.Every shoplifter that takes a product also is taking the product, which costs money by the store so that is also a set back and puts them more in dept.Shoplifting effects everyone, yourself and the everyone in the local neighborhood. In this essay I’m going to explain some of the circumstances of stealing from local stores, or any store. It is a way of life for them, it is how they make their money. If your care takers spend an average of two hundred and fifty dollars on food a week, and someone steals two hundread and fifty dollars of merchendise, the price of food will go up.This effects you the most because if you wanted to buy something that last month cost five dollars now costs six, now you are spending more money on things. Retail theft isnt just fun and games, it is very serious, and should not be taken lightly!
